Welcome to South Seattle College Georgetown Academic Advising!

We offer a wide range of advising services. We provide special advising services for apprentices and former apprentices who seek academic advising for Multi-Occupational Trades AAS/AAS-T (MOT), and Multi-Occupational Engineering and Technology (MOET) degree pathways. We are also a resource for students seeking guidance into South Seattle College’s Bachelor of Applied Science Programs (BAS).

South Seattle College provides several degree options that build on Apprenticeship, Military and other On-the-Job training, and can help to open up future career advancement opportunities and increased earning power.

Associate of Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T) Degrees

Multi-Occupational Trades

The Multi-Occupational Trades (MOT) associate degree is designed for students who are completing or have completed an apprenticeship program. It can help you move up the hierarchy of your organization and can be used to transition to one of the many bachelor degrees offered through the Seattle Colleges system and beyond.

Multi-Occupation in Engineering & Technology

The Multi-Occupation in Engineering & Technology (MOET) associate degree is a great fit for active US Military service members and veterans, as well as working professionals in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields without a degree. Eligible students can earn credit for their military education and prior learning.

Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degrees

Sustainable Building Science Technology

The Sustainable Building Science Technology (SBST) bachelor's degree is designed for students who have completed an apprenticeship program, a two-year technical degree or approved associate degree and have 2-5 years of related work experience with commercial and residential high performance buildings. The program offers industry professionals a pathway to becoming a skilled Building Science Professional.
