In late April we held our annual 5-day labor leadership school for Spokane area rank and file activists.  This year we brought together 26 rank and file leaders from Steelworkers, Teamsters, AFSCME Council 2, ATU, UA, drivers and more.

In addition to classroom time around leadership skills, we joined the UFCW ULP strikers at Providence Hospital, participated in a cold and somber Worker Memorial Day event, debated how to bring deeper discussions about race into the Spokane RLC, and concocted plans to shake up a few worksites.
