WA State Labor Council Secretary Treasurer Cherika Carter and our Labor Center’s Director Adair Dammann helped anchor the facilitation team.  The CRLLI has been a central part of our Labor Center work for almost a decade.  Along with our Rank-and-File Schools and our Young Workers program, CRLLI is part of our multi-tiered program of leadership training for labor and community activists.  The second gathering happened recently in Seattle (more on that soon!) and the third gathering will take place in Oregon this spring.

CRLLI is a joint program of the British Columbia Federation of Labour, the Oregon AFL-CIO, the Washington State Labor Council, AFL-CIO, the University of Oregon Labor Education and Research Center, and the WA Labor Education and Research Center at South Seattle College. It is part of a network of labor leadership programs coordinated by the Worker Institute at Cornell University’s School for Industrial and Labor Relations.
