LERC - Programs on Worker Education and Rights Series

Future classes to be announced.

P.O.W.E.R. classes offer unionists, activists, and interested community members the opportunity to develop skills, learn history and get informed about critical issues facing working families today. Bringing together members from different unions, allied organizations, and the community creates a dynamic learning environment in which participants share their experience and knowledge. The classes are jointly taught by Labor Center staff and one or more of our Training Associates or guest instructors.

  • Steward Training
  • Organizing
  • Collective Bargaining

Special Topics classes are offered each year, focusing on specific skills like strategic research or covering broader subjects like labor law or international labor issues.
